The program is located at the prestigious Westover School in Middlebury, Connecticut. The beautiful 100-acre Westover private school campus comes complete with four large dance studios, two state of the art athletic facilities, tennis courts, and a performing arts theatre. It is a safe, quiet environment that is ideal for younger children who may be experiencing a Summer Intensive for the first time.

Housing at Westover
All students and staff are housed at the Westover School dorms. The dorms are located on the luxurious, green private school campus which also includes the performing arts complex, cafeteria, and all other facilities. The dorms are situated on third floor of the main building at the Westover Campus and there are a LIMITED number of Air Conditioned Rooms available (*additional fees apply/first choice given to 6 week residents). The double and triple rooms are spacious, with a desk, dresser and wardrobe for each resident. The dorms are locked down at night and on-site 24 hour security is present throughout.

Advanced Level
New York, NY
Advanced students (15+ years old) will have the opportunity to study ballet in the one and only New York City! Located in Manhattan's beautiful Upper West Side minutes from Central Park and Lincoln Center, the historic beaux-arts AMDA facilities (formerly studios of Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre) are complete with newly renovated, air-conditioned, sunny, and spacious studios, student and teacher lounges, and a small cafe. While some weekend activities will be provided, students will have more flexibility in their schedule, so that they may enjoy more varied sights and outings. This program is ideal for older students who are considering living in a major city, are independent, and are excited about having more personal time in lieu of fewer planned activities.
Housing in New York
Students will have two options of housing in NYC:
Stratford Arms, an AMDA Residence is located in the quiet, residential neighborhood of the Upper West Side at 117 West 70th Street, within a few minutes walking distance from AMDA studios. The dorm is located in an area that has long been a center for the arts, within seconds from countless museums, Broadway theatres, and Lincoln Center for performances of Ballet, Opera, and Symphony. The quad, triple, and double rooms are all air-conditioned, and have shared bathrooms. A kitchen, tv lounge, and computer lab are located on the first floor of the dorm with an outdoor deck. The building has 24-hour on-site security along with resident advisors and full time chaperones residing on each floor.
Loeb Hall, a New School Residence, is located in the dynamic area of the East Village at 135 East 12th Street, a short subway ride from the AMDA studios. The apartment-style suites each have 2 double rooms, a full kitchen with refridgerator, stove, and dining area, as well as a private bathroom. There is a 24 hour on-site security desk as well as full time Resident Advisors and Chaperones living on the floors with the students.
Note: Meals not included in NYC. Students will have access to the Julliard cafeteria, countless neighboring cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores.
